The chairman of the Phoenix Party, Hong Meizhen, and the chairman of more than 100 political parties in Taiwan jointly protested that the "party law" set by the current ruling party was not only illegal but also unconstitutional.

In April 5, 1919 in Beijing-a group of patriotic students and many well-known literati started the May 4th Democracy Movement to save the nation. The May 4th Movement's demand for patriotic salvation, democratic science, and cultural enlightenment also opened a precedent for democracy to overthrow the imperial system. One hundred years later, we are still working hard for democracy and freedom all over the world.

On May 4, 2020, a group of leaders of our party for the sake of democracy and freedom, to serve the people of the whole country, and to break through the long-term oligarchy of Taiwan ’s political resources by the two national parties,

Furthermore, it is protesting that the current ruling party has formulated the "Party Law" which is unfair and unconstitutional, and limits the legal living space of the party. The current party law is not only illegal but also unconstitutional.

At the very moment of May 4, 2020 (May Fourth Movement 101 years), combined with many political parties, they went to the Ministry of the Interior and the Legislative Yuan to protest:

The 54 Movement in Taiwan broke through the oligopoly of political parties and saved Asian democracy.

(1) Political parties are the product of nature, and political parties produce states. What is the difference between a two-party oligopoly and a two-party political party?

(2) The state should list political parties and provide guidance first. Rights and obligations must be parallel and matched, and legitimate political parties must have basic political subsidies.

(3) Politics should be clean, and it is strictly forbidden to spend a lot of money on elections and promote national political participation. Political parties recommend running for elections without registration fees and publicity fees.

(4) Electronic waves, resources belong to the whole people. Any electronic media is free for at least 60 minutes a week for fair use by all legal parties.

(5) There is no political party law in the United States, and the new law requires that at least 100 important members must be provided with personal funds for monitoring and control, and the headquarters of the police will see the resurrection.

(6) Political parties are political issues, not legal issues. The German Constitution stipulates that the administrative legislation and judiciary shall not interfere with the activities of political parties without the judgment of the Constitutional Court.

(7) The law does not involve the past and does not provide counseling. The two parties ’oligopolistic legislation eliminates hundreds of political parties. Unconstitutionality has become a fact. The people ’s revolution is an obligation.

I hope that through legal and reasonable struggles, the voice of Taiwan ’s democracy will be visible to all people, and the world will witness the value of Taiwan ’s democracy and freedom.
